People want to do business with people they know which is why networking is so powerful. Think about it. Would you rather buy that insurance you need from a stranger or help out yourself and an acquaintance with a purchase?

Networking can be done formally in Chambers of Commerce, Business Network International (BNI) groups or with anyone you meet. So, always be prepared to network anywhere:

  • Develop, practice and commit to memory a 30 second intro (aka an elevator speech) that you can recite anywhere.
